My larger size of leeches are just under 2” in total length. I blend each dubbing in house to create the perfect texture and match colors to marabou. Balanced leeches need to be slim, like these, in order to sink well. Instead of cheap, soft pins that bend, I tie my balanced leeches with stainless steel pins that are very strong and resist corrosion. Every fly is head cemented, so these can last through dozens of fish.
